Thomas R. Kelly

Thomas R. Kelly was born on May 25, 1870 in Pittsburg to James and Bridget Kelly. At the age of 25  he married Julia Agnes Nelleny, age 22. They were married at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Pittsburg.

They had two children, Margaret born on 9/30/87 and Joseph, born on 5/6/99. Thomas was killed in a railroad accident on December 17, 1900 while the family was living in Pittsburg. His son Joseph, who fought with the American Expeditionary Forces and who "went over the top 21 times" (charged out of the trenches toward the German lines) came back from WWI unharmed but was also killed in a railroad accident and died on 7/22/25.
