SWOG 8797/ GOG 109 Trial

Trial randomized 243 women with high risk cervical cancer (IA2, IB, IIA with node mets found at RH-PPLND to either postOp  radiation alone or Radiation plus chemotherapy (5FU infusion plus Platinol q 3w for four cycles) and show significant improvement in progression-free four year survival ( 63% to 80%) and over-all four year survival (71% versus 80%)
