Metastatic esophageal carcinoma: This is an 81 year old male patient with newly diagnosed esophageal carcinoma. A CT exam revealed liver lesions.  The FDG PET exam demonstrated the primary esophageal tumor (black arrow) as well as multiple liver metastases
