Parotid Cancer. The rich network of superficial lymphatics of the face including the scalp and eyelids drain into the preauricular and parotid lymph nodes. The jugulodigastric lymph node is just inferior to the parotid gland. The deep lobe of the parotid drains into the retropharyngeal lymph nodes. The submaxillary gland drains into submandibular nodes.
