According to national statistics (SEER) the 5 year relative survival is 86% (all), 96% (local) 78% (regional) and 21% (distant) .

The TNM stage system is considered more accurate, national survival by TNM is noted below from the  NCDB (note that the NCDB now uses 'observed' survival...in the past they reported 'relative' survival which adjusts for other causes of death. The most accurate survival predictor is the calculator here.
